| Личные интересы Деятельность: Fashion photographer О себе: During his childhood in Moscow, the native Georgian I recognized the remarkable effects that film and photography are capable of eliciting in oneself: a journey into an extraordinary sphere, somewhere between reality and fantasy. He knew at an early age that he wanted to be a photographer, to create his own vision of reality. I moved to Berlin with his family in 1989. I studied photography in Paris between 1997 and 2000, where I also worked for the celebrated Gamma & Stills agency. I completed his studies in 2004 at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg, Germany, and since then has worked as a freelance photographer. In 2004, I won the prestigious Lucie Award and was named among the 200 best advertising photographers in the world by the Luezer’s Archive. I recent editorial work includes Elle (Germany), Vogue (Germany), Tush magazine, Zink (US), Jalouse, and direct commissions with L'Oreal, Estee Lauder, Cartier, Chanel, VW, Mercedes, Agent Provocateur, Casio, and Panasonic. Born in Georgia and raised in Moscow, I was always interested in photography, film and the visual arts as well. After studying graphic design in Hamburg and photography in Paris, I was nominated in 2004 as best new photographer at the prestigious Lucie Award in New York. Ever since I started working as a professional photographer. At the moment I live and works in Paris, Hamburg and Moscow. My work has appeared in magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Vanity Fair, Jalouse, Amica, GQ, Cosmopolitan. I also work for companies such as L'Oreal, Estee Lauder, Lacoste, Swarovski, Braun, Mercedes Benz, Cartier and YSL, and many others. |
