Жизненная позиция Полит. предпочтения: социалистические Мировоззрение: Confucianism Главное в людях: доброта и честность Главное в жизни: наука и исследования Отн. к курению: негативное Отн. к алкоголю: компромиссное Вдохновляют: Patience and understanding | Личные интересы Деятельность: Industrial Designe and Writer Интересы: Transportation Design; Inner City and Urban Architectural Design; Military Strategy and History; Statistical Analysis; Genetics, Race and Heredity Studies Любимые фильмы: There are so many I like....but "The Great Escape" and "The Magnificent Seven" are two I like quite a lot. Also, "Dr. Strangelove" and "The Russians are Coming" and "Dr. Zhivago" "From Russia with Love" is a Western Classic...no offense to my Russian Brothers. Любимые телешоу: "Enterprise" with American Actor, Scott Bakula was pretty good the first year or so of the show...it got really silly the 3rd Season. Любимые книги: "The Gossamer Oddessey" is interesting although, it's a pretty "dry" read. "The Horten Brothers and their All wing Aircraft" is really informative. "Marker Rendering Techniques" and "The US Strategic Defense Initiative" is a good read Любимые игры: I am not a "Capitalist" but the American 1930's Game by Parker Brothers called "Monopoly" is informative....it really allows a person to understand the psycology and techniques of the Capitalist System...and how unfair it is to the working person or proloteriat. We should come up with a Communist Game called, "Oktober Revolution" and we could have a card that says, "pay 200 Rubals and go to Lubyanka Prison" or "Go to Work Camp" for ten years in Kryasnojorsk, etc (just joking) О себе: I grew up in the once small and decent Town of Arlington, Texas which is lcated between Dallas/Ft.Worth, Texas. I lived in a neighborhood populated by German People. We were the odd Russian Family, but did not tell anyone as it was the "Cold War" Era...1960's/1970's. The University was just a block away and many of our neighbors were either Professors of Chemistry, or Engineers working for the US Defense Department...Defense Contractors like General Dynamics, Convair, Voight, LTV Aerospace, Texas Instruments, etc. Carswell Airforce Base flew B-52 Bombers 24 hours a day to Germany, awaiting orders to bomb Russia/Moscow...they did this for 24 years! I remember how noisy it was all those Jet Bombers taking off all day and night. I grew up with a lot of worries and stress...these people in Texas were "facists" and had ideas to take over the world and dominate everyone. It hasn't changed much either since then...it's even worse now since 9/11. I don't agree with these people....I think they are all "sick" in the mind. I like the vision of Gene Roddenberry and Star Trek the Next Generation...the future has got to be better somehow... Любимые цитаты: Well, it is not necessarily my favorite quote, but it is famous in the USA...it is from the MGM Movie, "Gone with the Wind" Rhett Butler tells Scarlet O'hara at the end of the movie," Franky, Scarlet my dear...I don't give a damn!" There is another saying in the West that is amusing, "Shit happens!" And one of my favorites from Star Trek, "Beam me up, Scotty...this planet sucks!" |
