Here you can find different books, periodicals, films and also interesting events!Informational Resource Center "American Corner in Astana " is a successful partnership between the National Academic library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan, that started back to 2010. What is IRC "American Corner Astana?" It is a small oasis of English-language culture in our library. Here you can find books on history and culture of USA, works by classical and contamporary authors, feature and documentary films, current periodicals, database Vlibrary and so on. Moreover, our regular events will help you to break down the language barrier and enhance English language skills, as well as learn about studing in the USA and much more! How to become a member? For getting membership card you need to bring your national ID card or passport and your enthusiasm about becoming a reader of the National Academic library. How to check out AC books? You need to bring copy of your Astana citizenship registrar-book and copy of your student identification card. You can check out only fiction literature though.
